TypeCon is an annual conference hosted by The Society of Typographic Aficionados, dedicated to typography and design enthusiasts.

This year's theme, "Compressed," was interpreted in a logo design that plays with the word's literal and figurative meanings. The well-rounded logo has a short x-height and intertwining letters, creating an illusion of being "pressed down" and compact.

To accentuate the logo's irony and different perspectives, a vibrant color palette was utilized for the background imagery, paired with a stark black or white logo.

The logo was adapted into marketing materials such as magazines, newspapers, billboards, and digital formats. Additionally, event items like participant lanyards, tickets, and t-shirts were created.
